Attorney Gina L. DeRossi was born and raised in greater New Bedford and is a lifelong resident of the area. She is a graduate of New Bedford High School, Providence College and New England Law, Boston. Attorney DeRossi began her career in Boston as an associate with Leontire & Shub before returning home to New Bedford as a partner with the law firm of Scannell, Lynn & DeRossi. In 2003, she established the Law Offices of Gina L. DeRossi, concentrating her practice in the areas of probate and family law. As part of her law practice, Attorney DeRossi served as a Bristol County Public Administrator from 2002 to 2009. In November, 2008, Attorney DeRossi was elected Bristol County’s first female Register of Probate and she was re-elected to that position in 2014. After serving as Register of Probate for over a decade, Attorney DeRossi was appointed Court Administrator of the Massachusetts Appeals Court. Attorney DeRossi is also a member of the adjunct faculty at UMass School of Law, Dartmouth, where she teaches Family Law.
