Kurt Hagstrom is an associate attorney at Leontire & Associates, P.C. His areas of practice include civil litigation, partnerships, corporations, and fishing regulation. In 2014 Kurt received his juris doctor degree summa cum laude from the University of Massachusetts School of Law. While at UMass Law, Kurt was editor-in-chief of the University of Massachusetts Law Review and was a speaker at the 2014 National Conference of Law Reviews. Kurt also worked for the New Bedford Harbor Development Commission, the Rhode Island Office of the Public Defender, and the UMass Criminal Prosecution Clinic.
Kurt grew up in Worcester. In 2004 he received a B.A. in English from the University of Chicago, and in 2009 he received an M.F.A. in Film Studies from Boston University. Kurt belongs to the Bristol County Bar Association and joined the Board of the New Bedford Bar Association in 2015. Kurt was elected Secretary of the New Bedford Bar Association in 2016.
